First off, this novel is longer than I expected. In paperback, it may be 322 pages, but for ebook it is actually 766 pages. I’ll start off with the story. It is indeed one of kind, as it revolves around Amanda’s ghost (w/c is a 3-month old baby) and her ability to control the weather through her painted room.
The twists and turns in the story was developed when I’m actually in the last quarter of the book and it will really keep you on your toes. The first half of the book consists of every character’s life story, particularly Katie and Bert. This I think makes this novel longer than necessary. I also skipped some parts pertaining to meteorology since I think it’s very technical, especially for a reader who’s not into it.
I would recommend this to everyone who loves paranormal with the twist of crime and suspense. This may be a long read, but the plot and the climax are worth it.
